About Me

Why

I was born and raised in a small town in the south-western district of Victoria, Australia at the foot of the Geriwerd-Grampians Mountain Range. After spending 16 years in this area I relocated to the city of Melbourne. Exposed to music from birth by my vocalist mother I performed in front of an public audience at about the age of 10 years. Music and singing has been a passion ever since. Its only been the last five years that I seriously started to play guitar and write songs. My first attempt, that took months, was music adapted to a poem written by my mother. (Reconcilliation) My next song I wrote in 15 mins after the death of my father and performed it at his funeral two days later. (River of Dreams) My song repertoire is developing some coming easy, some not so easy. I guess that's what being singer-songwriter is all about. Until only recently, I discovered that my great-grandmother of my father was an indigenous Gunditjmara woman. This has answered many feelings I have experienced throughout my life and has started me on a journey of a new dreaming.

I was living on Koh Samui, Thailand for the last four(4) years and still writing songs and playing my music when i can. Now back in Western Australia in the Midwest and continuing to play my music.
